Summay of Membranes
The MEMCAST ™ automatic film coater is ideal for the synthesis of flat sheet polymeric membranes by coating a thin film of a polymer solution followed by immersing the films in a coagulation bath to obtain the final membrane via wet phase inversion. Reproducible film layers can be prepared, either stand-alone (for example, coating directly on glass, stainless steel, etc.) or on various substrates (for example, non-woven, polymeric supports, etc.).
The design minimizes movement during film application for smooth and consistent films. It is robust, durable, easy to clean and very friendly.
Includes a flat panel.
Mechanism of easy fixation / detachment of the coating support, allowing rapid immersion in a coagulation bath.
Automatic return of the push mechanism at the end of the lining length.
Optional stopping of the push mechanism during application to determine the length of the coating.

Digital display for setting the temperature and reading the actual temperature, as well as reading the set speed of the coating (casting). A standard casting knife with 2 compartments (2 coating lines) and 4 standard coating thicknesses of 100μm, 150μm, 250μm and 500μm.
